anderson_fred_front_webFrederick Anderson, CED Investigative Technologies Inc.’s senior metallurgist has been involved in the investigation of material failures for over 25 years. Mr. Anderson, after receiving a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and a M.S. in Metallurgy from Georgia Institute of Technology, worked for the US Navy / U.S Department of Energy – Naval Reactors as a Nuclear Power Research Officer. After

leaving the United States Navy, Mr. Anderson was employed by Northeast Utilities as a Senior Engineer responsible for material failure analysis and component fitness for service evaluations for the company's nuclear reactor facilities.

After Northeast Utilities Mr. Anderson worked for Tetra Engineering Group as a consultant providing expertise in corrosion phenomena such as stress corrosion and flow accelerated corrosion, and performing failure analysis and fitness for service evaluations of power plant and industrial components. Mr. Anderson is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), ASM International – the Materials Information Society, and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE).
