Biography/Background

Audra M. Arnold, P.E. is a Professional Engineer licensed in the states of Ohio and Illinois. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering from the Ohio State University.

Ms. Arnold’s almost 13 years of professional experience includes providing consulting services in geotechnical, heavy underground, and environmental engineering in Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan. Ms. Arnold has managed the geotechnical tasks for public infrastructure projects in the water/wastewater and transportation realms, as well as numerous private industrial and commercial projects. Her previous experience includes managing investigations of soil, rock, and groundwater to provide design and recommendations for all varieties of structures and projects; including pavements, shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, deep excavations, major earthwork, tunnels, utilities, river embankments, and slopes.

She also has extensive experience performing forensic engineering evaluations and services for structural and pavement failures. Her responsibilities have included project coordination, project management, and preparation of reports and associated documents.

Ms. Arnold has extensive field experience in various subsurface investigation techniques, geotechnical and environmental field testing, and construction oversight special inspections. Ms. Arnold is proficient in drilling coordination and supervision, sampling, logging of borings and reporting of geotechnical data as per USCS classification as well as ODOT standards. She has certifications from the FHWA-NHI-132079 Subsurface Investigation Qualification and the ODOT Visual Classification Course for Geotechnical Logging of Soil and Rock Stratum courses.
