Job Description and Position Requirements 

Have you ever wondered who finds the causes to vehicular accidents or product failures?  Have you ever wanted to be a detective and take something apart and see how it works or if the design protected hazards from the consumer?  The CED Technologies Inc. Annapolis, Maryland location is currently looking for an Mechanical/Automotive Engineer that is a problem solver to perform investigations into accidents and product failures.

Ideal Candidates should have the following credentials:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University
  • At least 10 years of experience
  • Experience with vehicles and/or vehicle design
  • ACTAR Certification a Plus
  • Professional Engineers (P.E) or EIT license at plus
  • Masters or advanced degrees a bonus
  • Background in risk safety or forensic engineering a plus.

The ideal candidate must also be willing to occasionally travel on a day or overnight basis to investigate accidents whether it is a construction defect, roadway design or worker safety issue.  This position is well suited for an individual who is motivated and a self starter who likes working independently and not at a desk and on occasion also enjoys working outdoors.
