Biography/Background

Elieser Perez, P.E. is one of CED’s civil/structural engineers.  Mr. Perez holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría in Havana Cuba.  After graduation, he started his professional career at the Prefabrication Company of Havana as a quality control inspector and started accumulating practical experience as an engineer.  While in this role, Elieser supervised the manufacturing process for various prefabricated reinforced concrete elements used in construction.

Elieser’s next role was as a project engineer and design engineer for the company that provided all the engineering services for the power grid of Cuba, INEL.  While at INEL, Elieser was continuously involved in projects servicing the electric power industry of Cuba in a capacity that included design and field construction of sub-station foundations, control rooms, local roads, underground power systems, industrial structures, power stations, and beyond.

Elieser relocated from Cuba to Miami, Florida in 2014 and became a U.S. Citizen in 2020.  After his move to the U.S., Elieser went to work for Park Plus in South Florida designing and installing mechanical parking garages.  While at Park Plus Elieser had a variety of roles and responsibilities that allowed him to grow as a professional engineer.  Being a project engineer and construction manager afforded Elieser additional experience of managing projects in the field and managing field crews of installers and technicians.  Elieser gained insight into client relationships and honed his skills as an engineer in the office and in the field.

Elieser also held the role of Project Manager at The Falcon Group prior to joining to CED.  Elieser’s experience with The Falcon Group strengthened his desire to become a full-time forensic engineer.  Elieser’s experience and education make him a valuable asset to the CED’s team of engineering experts.
