Background:
Baylee Walters is a valued Electrical Engineer at CED with a strong foundation in both the Nuclear and Power generation industries.
She completed her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University in 2020 and holds an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) license in Ohio. She is an OSHA Authorized Trainer after successfully completing the OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training Program in June 2024. Baylee Walters is a member of Women in Nuclear (WIN), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the National Association for Fire Investigators (NAFI).
Before joining CED Technologies in 2024, she honed her skills as a Nuclear Engineer at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant in North Perry, Ohio. As an emergent issues engineer, she received experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic control systems and participated in causal evaluations for equipment failure. During her tenure, Baylee earned a certification in Transformer Management 1 from PowerPro 360 and Kent State University in October 2023. Shel also earned a certificate in Foxboro Distributed Control System (DCS) – 2001v8 Configurations Essentials from Schneider Electric in August 2022.
Baylee Walters also served as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Integrated Power Services (IPS) (2019-2020). There, she gained experience in electrical testing for high voltage motors and generators, developed testing procedures, assisted in root cause analysis, and contributed to insulation system research for form-wound coils. Her technical skills and dedication to innovation make her an asset to CED and the industry.
In 2025, she successfully passed the P.E. exam in the State of Ohio and is on track to become a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio.
